Things to remember before you leave home...

For the Airport to come to Rarotonga:

Your Passport - To ensure you are a valid citizen and allowed to exit and enter another country

Airline Tickets - so you catch the right flight, on the right day, at the right time

Credit Cards & Spending Money - We have New Zealand Currancy here in the Cook Islands, its so easy.  You need money for tours, shopping, restaurants, little bits & pieces, gifts for friends and family, a pearl for the lovely ladies, Surf Clothing is well priced here, souviners for you....not forgetting the ever popular Saturday morning markets at 7-12pm

Pen - For your immigrations departure card and Cook Islands arrivals card

Small plastic lock bag (Glad) - For your gloss, eye drops, lens lotion, powder, etc.  all items you need on the plane must be in a small plastic see through plastic bag for inspection.  all bottles or glosses, lipstick must be under 100mls.  If you don't need it, put it in your suitcase

Suitcase for Luggage - clothes (for the beach, bars, nice restaurants, messy fun tours, cardigan for cool nights, shorts & t's for lounging or taking a drive around the island), a hat, jandels and sun glasses, sunblock, insect roll on repellant, camera, a good book, personal effects - cosmetics, medication or special diet foods if required (declare food) and any other little things you need.   

Wedding Couples: Dont forget the rings!!! and your Bride or course

For the departure lounge:

Lollies & a good book or magazine - to read while waiting for your flight

IPOD or MP3 - Music for the soul good for waiting time as well as lounging time during your holiday.

Bottle of Water for the flight - buy it in Duty Free or at the vending machine at your departure gate.  Do not buy it before you go through the immigrations departure gate.  Liquids are not allowed through the gate for safety reasons unless it is sealed in a lock bag and under 100ml.

When you arrive:

Transporation Documents to the Hotel - Make sure you have arrangements to get you to the hotel on a tours & transport shuttle or hotel shuttle.  Ask the hotel for options.

Hotel Documents, Itinerary or Hotel Vouchers - To ensure you have the right room at the right time and the right date.  If you have a package deal, check those details to get what is confirmed for your holiday on arrival or the following morning if you arrival early house of the morning.

Note: Check in time for Club Raro is 12pm on the your arrival day and Check Out time is 10am on the morning of your departure date.  Check with your booking agent to ensure your room is available to you on your arrival to departure.

What to do at the hotel -  Familiarize yourself with the compendium, an information manual inside all rooms, ask reception in the morning for recommendations to do, they are the guru's for tours, restaurants etc and the buzz around our beautiful island.
