Q: How do I get to town?
A: You can use a rental vehicle at reception, taxis can be pre arranged at the desk or use the bus which circles the island and passes twice per hour once clockwise, once counter clockwise.

Q: Do I have Cell phone access?
A: You will require a local SIM card ($30) to use your cell phone. There is no overseas roaming. Prepaid top up cards are available at the local shop across the road or 5 minutes at the 24hour service station. Text messaging can be sent only to New Zealand, Australia and local mobiles and please don't forget your charger.

Q: Are there poisonous snakes or spiders in the Cook Islands?
A: No there are no dangerous animals

Q: Are there stores open on Sunday?
A: There are very little stores on Sunday open except for the Township Stores.

Q: Does your resort have white sandy beaches?
A: We do not have a white sandy beach; however we do have a beautiful sand decks or beach in front with patches of sand and coral that is perfect for snorkelling and fun activities. For those looking for white sandy beaches, those are approximately 5 minutes down the road.

Q: How bad are the mosquitoes at your resort?
A: We really don't have a mosquito problem at all, however we do advise mosquito repellant at all times

Q: Is it safe to swim in the lagoon?
A: Yes of course but we do recommend you wear reef shoes which we complimentary provide.

Q: Do you have rentals and bikes?
A: Yes, we have motor scooters, motorcycles and push bikes on the premises and we can also arranges to have a rental car delivered upon request.

Q: Do you have internet access or Wireless?

A: Yes! We have in the lobby an internet booth available at all times and also our Wireless Internet.  You can purchase a time code card at reception where you can access either services.  Access Fee's vary.

Q: Are their in the hotel or nearby stores to buy basic things like bottled what or baby food for my kids??

A: We have a snack vending machine available in the lobby of the hotel which has snacks, bottled water and soft drinks for your convience.  There is also a little store across the road from the hotel where you can get basic things like bottled water, baby food, sunblock, cigarettes etc.  There is also a 24 hour service station 3 minutes drive away with everything you need.

Q:  Do I need to bring my own towels for the beach?

A: No you dont.  We have pool towels available to use at reception.  No fee is required, you just need to return it at the end of the day.
